youtuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has reacted to the recent NGO scam allegations leveled against him. In a video message, Elvish insisted that he is satisfied with his earnings and there is no need for him to get involved in any shady deals to earn money.

It all started when Alvish posted a video on Friday asking his followers to help a family whose child is suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and was in need of a hefty sum. A day later, stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui claimed on his Instagram Stories that some NGOs pay celebrities and influencers to make emotional appeals for donations. Although he did not mention Elvish directly, many saw it as a veiled criticism of the YouTuber.
Responding to the discussion, Elvish shared a video on social media on Saturday, in which he denied any involvement in NGO scams and insisted that he never accepts money to help others.
He said, “You guys might have noted that I stay away from controversies. I don’t comment on anyone or anything… I am seeing this everywhere that people are saying Elvish has done a scam and taken money. all, I don’t take money for helping anyone. If they’re giving me money, then what do they have for help?)”.
He revealed that a close friend had reached out to him for help with the child, and explained how he could ask for money in exchange for promoting the cause of helping a sick child.
“So, it’s not a scam. They’ve also posted about it on Milap (Foundation). Also, it’s not like they came and I was like, ‘Okay, I’ll help,'” Alvish said in Hindi. They had brought all the documents, the names of the doctors were written on them and Milap had also posted, so I posted.”
Elvish clarified that the donation campaign was completely transparent, noting that the NGO’s details, barcodes and fund tracking were all publicly accessible.
He said, “First of all, I don’t believe in this scam, why don’t I do any scam. My money is better than God’s gift. We do our own show, God has taken care of us. So, doing a scam for such small things is not my habit… Yaar hai bhai. People need excuses to show how low they are. Focus on your work (First of all, I Don’t believe in scams and I already have more than enough. So, doing a scam is just not my style.

Comedian Munawar Faruqui recently took to Instagram to share how he saved himself from an alleged scam, leaving social media users wondering if he was taking a dig at Elvish.

He revealed that a company had approached him to promote a campaign to raise funds for a child. Although he politely declined the offer, saying that the offer appeared to be a scam, Munawwar criticized such promotions.

After Munawwar’s team raised concerns about the fees for such promotions, the company agreed to pay. But Munawwar took a stand and criticized this practice.
Munawwar shared, “We have never gambled. We do not sell tobacco or such products. So I was surprised what kind of business is this? There will be treatment. It may be real or not. But where will the money go after the treatment? Besides, there should be some business motive.” He asked people to do good deeds by helping the needy.
