New Delhi. X is manually reviewing DMs (direct messages) of some users to investigate alleged violations and abuse of its service, or to comply with laws or government requests. An X user named Kim Dotcom posted this policy update on Monday, to which Elon Musk could not give a clear answer. This is against the policy of providing end-to-end encryption of content on the platform.
Musk replied, ‘It currently works weirdly (if you keep it on). We are working on making it easier to use and implementing it on group messages as well.’
