The Ducati Panigale V4 R comes to India as a limited, track-ready superbike. It packs 218 hp and advanced racing electronics. The first delivery took place in Chennai.
Ducati India has launched the new Panigale V4 R in the country, bringing one of its most track-focused motorcycles to Indian buyers. The launch marks the arrival of Ducati’s flagship racing-derived superbike, developed primarily with the World Superbike Championship in mind. How much is the Ducati Panigale V4 R price in India? 84.99 lakh ex-showroom and is available only in Ducati Red.
The first and only unit of the 2025 Panigale V4 R allocated for India has already been delivered, with Ducati Chennai handing over the motorcycle to its owner on January 1, 2026. Bookings for the model are now open at Ducati dealerships, although availability will be extremely limited.
At the heart of the Panigale V4 R is a 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine producing 218 hp at 15,750 rpm in standard form. Built using technologies taken directly from Ducati’s racing programs, the engine is designed to deliver high top speed and performance that is closer to a race bike than a traditional road-going superbike. With the optional racing exhaust, output can reach 235 hp.

One of the main highlights of the new Panigale V4 R is its aerodynamics. Ducati has introduced the MotoGP-inspired Corner Sidepod for the first time on a road-legal motorcycle. These are designed to improve grip at high lean angles, while the large winglets help increase downforce and stability when climbing speeds. The chassis setup, combined with top-spec Öhlins suspension and lightweight components, is designed to provide precise response and control on the circuit.
The electronics package is equally impressive. Features such as a racing-style gearbox layout with a neutral position below first gear, an advanced traction and slide control system and race-oriented brake management underline the racing heritage of the Panigale V4 R. A new 6.9-inch TFT display offers a dedicated track view including grip indicators, helping riders better understand how the motorcycle is behaving under hard riding.
Given its limited numbers and obvious track-first character, this is not a motorcycle made for everyone. Instead, it is aimed at collectors and experienced riders who want the closest possible experience to a factory race bike, with enough street validity to get out of the garage.
