DSSSB Vacancy 2025: Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) issued a notification about Assistant Primary Teacher Job Vacancy. This recruitment drive is to fill a total of 1180 assistant teacher posts and interested candidates can apply online on the official website, dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
According to the notification of September 10, there are 1055 vacancies of Assistant Teacher (Primary) in the Directorate of Education and 125 vacancies of Assistant Teacher (Primary) in New Delhi Municipality.
The registration window opens on 17 September and will remain open until October 16, 2025. “In a tier technical and technical/ teaching examination scheme, marks with compulsory minimum qualification will only apply to the domain subject specific IE section-BM&, section-A will have no minimum qualification. However, the joint marks of both Khand-A and Section-B will be finalized.
Exam pattern
The Tier 1 technical exam will be of 200 marks and will include 200 MCQs each.
Section A will include the following:
1. General intelligence and logic capacity.
3. Arithmetic and numerical capacity.
4. English language and understanding.
5. Hindi language and understanding.
Section B will be based on NCTE course with primary attention to functioning
DSSSB Vacancy 2025: Application Fee
An application fee of 100 will be charged, but women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes, PWD and X-Sarvisman category will be exempted.
DSSSB Vacancy 2025: Eligibility
Candidates should have qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and should have two years diploma in primary education or certificate course in Ete / JBT / DIET / DIET /B.El.Ed. Apart from 50% marks in class 12, from a recognized institute. Another necessary requirement is that candidates should pass Hindi as a subject in class 10.
DSSSB Vacancy 2025: Age Limit
On October 16, 2025, candidates should not be over 30 years of age.
