1. How to store for one year

2. Cotton cloth will also be useful
Summer season also affects the freshness of garlic, so if you do not have jute bags, you can use any cotton scarf or cotton cloth bag to store garlic. Because during summers, cotton clothes provide cooling effect and are also ventilated. When you use a dupatta, fold it 2-3 times first. Then make a bundle by placing garlic in it. Now keep it in a cool and dry place.
3. Store peeled garlic for a week
If you have peeled more garlic cloves than you need, or you peel garlic every weekend, this is a very easy way to store it throughout the week. You store peeled garlic cloves in an airtight jar or bag, and keep it in the refrigerator. During this time, keep in mind that there should not be any kind of moisture in the jar. Garlic can also get spoiled due to moisture.
4. Peeled garlic will remain fresh for 3 weeks
If you want to store peeled garlic cloves for two to three weeks, then first chop the garlic well. Now heat 1 teaspoon ghee in a pan and add garlic to it. Also add some salt. Because salt works as a very good preservative. Garlic does not have to be roasted completely, it just has to be cooked lightly. Now you can fill this paste in a container and store it in the refrigerator.
5. Keep these things in mind
Keep in mind, while buying garlic, do not buy light pink colored garlic or sprouted garlic, they are very difficult to cut or peel. If you are buying garlic to store, then keep in mind that it is better to buy garlic with large lumps and thin peel. To prevent garlic from sprouting, keep it away from moisture and sunlight.
