Actually, green leafy vegetables like spinach, broccoli etc. contain oxalic acid and fruits contain citric acid. When it enters the stomach, citric acid absorbs oxalic acid very quickly. The body does not need that much oxalic acid. As a result, it will start accumulating in the kidneys or gall stones. Due to this, stones will start forming in the kidney or gall bladder which will become bigger with time. Therefore, do not drink vegetable and fruit juice mixed in the morning.
Gastric and diabetes
Apart from this, people who are diabetic and gastric patients should also not drink juice in the morning. It is harmful for diabetic patients to drink juice in the morning because removing the pulp from the juice increases the amount of sugar which will increase the sugar. A gastric patient should not drink juice in the morning because this juice will increase the amount of acid in the stomach due to which the stomach will remain bloated like a balloon of gas throughout the day. This can happen with some normal people also.
Then when should you drink juice?
Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi told that the best time to drink juice is between lunch and dinner. Or drink it half an hour after breakfast. Because at this time there is not much acid in the stomach.
