New Delhi. India Yamaha Motor is recalling around 3 lakh units of its 125 cc scooter models Ray ZR 125 FI Hybrid and Fascino 125 FI Hybrid. Actually, it is being recalled to repair the brake part in the scooter. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturing company said that it is recalling scooters manufactured between January 1, 2022 and January 4, 2024 with immediate effect.
The company said in the statement that it is committed to the high quality and safety standards of its products. Under this, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has announced voluntary recall of about 3,00,000 units of 125 cc scooters.

brake lever malfunction
According to the statement, the purpose of the recall is to resolve the issue related to the functioning of the ‘brake lever’ in select units of Ray ZR 125 FI Hybrid and Fascino 125 FI Hybrid scooter models (models after January 2022).
“The spare parts are being provided free of cost to the concerned customers,” IYM said in the statement. Customers can visit the service section of the company’s website and enter their chassis number details to know if the vehicle is eligible for the recall. Can enter.
