Disturbing resurfaced footage of Ariana Grande on Nickelodeon alludes to her being “promiscuous” at a young age. The clips that are now being revealed were aired during the first episode of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. A new documentary exposes disturbing behind-the-scenes allegations at Nickelodeon.
The clip shows Grande putting her hands down her throat and sucking her toes. It also shows him pouring water on his chest and head while lying on the bed. Another clip shows her milking a potato and making moaning sounds. A separate segment of the video features two female writers revealing the “disgusting” meaning behind the name of the character Amanda Bynes was to play.
Several cast and crew members, including Drake & Josh star Drake Bell, have opened up about what was going on behind the scenes on the show. Dan Schneider’s empire lasted in the 1990s and 2000s. The Investigation Discovery four-part documentary will air over two nights. The show highlights how Schneider abused his position of power and how various convicted pedophiles were allowed to work on the show. IMDb says it is a “docu-series that exposes the toxic culture behind some of the most iconic children’s shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s.”
‘One of the central questions we were considering was the dynamics of power’
Mary Robertson directed the show with Emma Schwartz. According to The Hollywood Reporter, while speaking about the show, Robertson previously said, “One of the central questions we were considering was this power dynamic, would that bring a child into a work environment? Whether it’s a parent trying to support their child, whether it’s a child belonging to a showrunner who has the power to make or break their career or their future as a star. Is.
“The kids who grew up loving these shows now have a new generation of parents in their own right. Our hope is that being quiet on set will spark meaningful conversations between families and leave them with a better understanding of not only grooming, but all of the complex issues tackled in this documentary,” Jason Sarlanis, Turner Networks, ID and HLN, president of linear and streaming, added.
