A person from Assam, who was slapped by a passenger on an Indigo flight earlier this week, was found after the disappearance after the viral incident.
32 -year -old Hussain Ahmed Mazumdar allegedly faced nervousness when riding an Indigo flight. He was slapped by a fellow passenger, a video of which went viral recently.
Mazumdar, who lives from Assam, took off from Mumbai to Kolkata on Thursday. He traveled 6E-2387 when he experienced a panic episode. The next day, he was another flight from Kolkata to Silchar.
Mazumdar has been reported missing after the in-flight incident.

Majumdar was reportedly found at a railway station in Barpeta district of Assam, about 800 km from Kolkata, where the aircraft landed, and 400 km from the silker, which was considered their destination, said NDTV.

The attacker, known as Hafizul Rahman, was detained by security personnel and handed over to the police when he reached Kolkata. Later he was released.
Responding to the incident, IndiGo said that such “uncontrolled behavior is completely unacceptable.”
Airlines stopped the man who slapped Majumdar, and said, “After hard work, the incident associated with an uncontrolled customer has been informed to the concerned officials for formally necessary action.”

The airline said, “According to our commitment to discourage such uncontrolled behavior on board flights, the person has been suspended from flying on any indigo flights, according to regulatory provisions,” the airline said.
