If we talk about normal days, hotel occupancy is being recorded up to 45 percent. He said that the traditional tourists of Himachal are from Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Gujarat and Maharashtra who have now started moving to Himachal.
What will be special on Diwali?
The President of the Hotel Association also said that hotels will also release their own special packages to attract tourists. In this, facilities like accommodation, food and transport will be provided at special prices. Many other different events will also be organised. Meanwhile, an appeal was made to the tourists to maintain the beauty of Himachal Pradesh. He said that Himachal is a beautiful state. Any tourist who comes here to admire its beauty is welcome, but take full care that its beauty is maintained.
So many tourists came last year
Talking about last year i.e. June 2023, according to the data, till this month, a total of more than 1 crore tourists had reached the major places of the state including Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. These included 99,78,504 domestic and 28,239 foreign tourists. In comparison to the year 2022, more tourists came to Himachal between January and June of 2023. This year also it is expected that the expectations of the people working in the tourism sector will be fulfilled and the season will go well.
