Hazaribagh. Sweety Kumari, daughter of Koderma district of Jharkhand, has made her mark at the international level. Sweety, a resident of Jhumri Tilaiya in Koderma district, has created a concept by which books can be kept safe for an indefinite period. This concept of his has been granted a patent by the Government of the United Kingdom. After getting the patent, now no country or library can make a device for protecting books using this concept. Sweety has named this concept Beeblo Kavach.
Sweety has given a special kind of concept to the world. in which such ,jacket, It has been designed which can be applied on books. Many types of sensors will be installed in this jacket, which will be able to track the effect of sunlight, moisture, dust and water on the books. Sensors alert in case of any loss, so that any books can be saved in time. This device will prove especially useful for those texts and ancient manuscripts which have been preserved as heritage.
This is how the idea came
While talking to Local 18 Jharkhand, Sweety told that she works as a librarian in DAV Public School, Hazaribagh. While working in the library, he noticed that books get spoiled with time. Things like dust, moisture, water, sunlight etc. are responsible for spoiling any book. This concept came while working in school. He said that checking old books again and again is not only difficult, but it can also worsen the condition of the book caretakers.
He further said that his concept will be very effective in the future. A device will be prepared using this concept to protect the oldest script. So that our scriptures can be kept safe.
