The most important thing is to save the silencer
According to mechanics, the easiest way for water to enter the car is the silencer which is open. Through this, water can reach the engine and wiring of the car. To avoid this easy prey of waterlogging, if you drive the car by applying a little accelerator, then the smoke coming out of the silencer will stop water from entering it. This is currently the most effective way to protect your silencer from water.

Cross the waterlogged area without stopping
Try not to stop on waterlogged roads and cross the waterlogged road in one go. If you stop the car on waterlogged roads, the chances of water filling in it will increase. If not necessary, do not apply brakes on such roads and take the car out of the water at a slow speed.

Leave the car only after turning off the AC
On waterlogged roads, take the car into the water only after switching off the AC. This will prevent water from entering the car through the AC vent and air. If the AC is switched off, there will be no risk of it getting damaged in water, but if you take the AC into the water while it is running, it can cause damage.

Pump the brakes as soon as you come out of the water
As told to you, do not apply brakes while in water, but once you come out of water, pump your brakes immediately. This will remove the water filled in the brakes, because most of the cars in India have disc and drum brakes, in which incidents of water filling are very common.

Do not start the car repeatedly
If your car stops on a waterlogged road, do not try to start it again and again. It would be better to start your car only after bringing it out of the water. Starting the car repeatedly in water can fill the car’s engine with water and your car’s engine can also seize.
