The Central Board of Secondary Education started the registration process for CTET July 2024 on Thursday, March 7, 2024. The last date to apply for the exam is April 2, 2024. CTET July 2024 exam will be conducted on 7th July 2024 in twenty languages in around 136 cities across the country. The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift exam will be held from 9:30 am to 12 noon. Whereas, the second shift examination will be conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

What is CTET exam?
Central Teacher Eligibility Test is one of the mandatory eligibility criteria for appointment as a teacher for classes 1 to 8. The national level examination is conducted to test the eligibility of candidates as primary (classes 1 to 5) or elementary (classes 6 to 8) teachers. It is mandatory to qualify the exam to get eligibility to teach in central government schools like KVS, NVS etc.
CTET Registration 2024: Exam Fee
The examination fee for registration of CTET exam is Rs 1000 for Paper I or II only Rs 1200 for both Paper I and II for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates. exam registration fee is 500 more for just one paper Rs.600 for both the papers for SC/ST/Defend candidates. Capable person category.

2. Click on CTET July 2024 registration link visible on the home page.
3. After clicking on the link, a new page will open and register yourself.
4. Once done, fill the application form and pay the application fee.
5. Submit and download the page.
