CSIR UGC NET 2024 Answer Key: Last date to raise objection today – AyraNews24x7

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 provisional answer key objection window today, August 11, at 11:50 pm. Candidates who appeared for the exam can view and download the answer key, response sheet and question paper at csirnet.nta.ac.in. They can challenge the answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 for each question.

The answer key will be changed and the answers of all candidates will be revised if any challenge is upheld. The challenges will be reviewed and the final solution key will be used to prepare and declare the result, the NTA has said. Candidates will not get updates from the NTA about the status of their challenges. Candidates should note that the decision of the exam subject expert will be final, the official notice said.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 Answer Key: How to Raise Objection?

Step 1: Click on the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Look for the link “Joint CSIR-UGC NET July-2024: Click here to Challenge the Answer Key” and click on it.

Step 3: The login page will be displayed in front of you. Enter the login credentials including your application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Now, select the CSIR UGC NET Answer Key.

Step 5: Click on “View Question Paper” to check the question paper and answers. Click on the “Click to view/challenge answer key” link to submit a challenge to the answer key.

Step 6: The order of the question IDs will be shown. The answer key used by NTA is shown by the ID next to the question under “Correct Option”.

Step 7: If you want to object to a response and attach valid proof with it, click on the checkbox to select the appropriate Option ID from the column.

Step 8: Now, you can pay the required fee and submit the form. Save the form on the screen for later use.

This year the CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam was held on July 25, 26 and 27. Two shifts were conducted for the exam on July 25 and 26. The first session was from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift was from 3 pm to 6 pm. NTA said in an official notification that 2,25,335 students were examined in the Computer Based Test (CBT) method at 348 examination centers spread across 187 cities across the country. NTA conducted the CBT mode exam of the joint CSIR UGC NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Lectureship (LS), Assistant Professor and PhD programs.
