Honeymoon news: Baltimore – A doctor in a flight returning from Hawaii saved the life of a fellow passenger who was returning from her honeymoon and was a doctor herself. Dr. Jacquelin Leshera, 61, became seriously ill on the flight while returning from her honeymoon from Hawaii. Lasera said, “I started getting very nice and I immediately ran towards the bathroom. After that I started sweating and sharp chest pain.”
Fellow passenger Emily Haley, an emergency room doctor at the Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center in Maryland. She was also with her family in the same flight. Haley said, “We were preparing to sleep when a call came for medical help suddenly.” He immediately examined the important signs of Lasera and found that he was prone to arrhythmia.

When the condition deteriorated, Haley gave Lasera fluid and oxygen, but there was no improvement in the situation. Therefore, he used the defibrilater. Haley said, “I told Lasera that I would have to shock them, and they agreed,”. This shock was painful, but it saved Lasera’s life.
His position remained stable until the flight landed in California. The airline sent a nostalgia letter to Haley to help her, and both women expect to stay in touch. Lasera has complained to his Congress member about lack of proper medical equipment in the aircraft.
