Facility to give online test for learning driving license will be available from October 2024. You can easily give this test sitting at home on computer, laptop or mobile. After applying online, uploading self-attested copies of required documents and depositing fees online, the link for the test will be made available on the website of the Transport Department. As soon as you click on the link, the test process will start.
15 questions will be asked in the test
In the test which will be taken in online format, 15 questions will be asked. There will be four options for each. To pass, it is necessary to answer 9 questions correctly. While giving online test, no one’s voice should be heard and no other person should be visible on the screen. If any other person is seen, the application will be considered a duplicate and will be rejected. Along with this, fees will also not be refunded.
License will come on mobile
Learning license will be issued after passing the online examination. Its link will be sent to the mobile. The applicant will be able to download the license and take a print out. Now, after booking the slot, one has to go to the DTO office and give the test on the computer. One has to reach the slot as per the given time.
DTO office address changed
The DTO office has now shifted to the transport complex near Phulwari Sharif Jail instead of Biscomaman Tower at Gandhi Maidan. The people of Patna will get other transport related services including DL, registration, permit, fitness and accident insurance on the first floor of Phulwari Sharif Transport Complex only.
