San Jose, California. , March 24, 2025 , Nap -Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley (BGCSV), a non-profit youth service group, which provides school voluntary activities for young people through the clubhouse of the valley, announced the appointment of Kim Paes, Terry Passion, Sanjay Chandra to his board of directors.
BGCSV President and CEO Steve Wimmer said, “We are excited to welcome three such incredible leaders for boys and girls’ boards of Silicon Valley’s Board of Directors.” “Kim, Terry, and Sanjay bring depth of diverse knowledge, experience and enthusiasm that will help us to create positive effects and opportunities for the youth we serve.”
Paes, the Chief Operating Officer at the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Landro, already helped Paes develop and implement Vision 2020 – a project that turned the club into a dedicated teenage center and community hub, leading to a $ 11+ million capital campaign with emotional employees, boards and a team of the community. Now, as CEO, she is leading the development of the organization eight times, expanding its access to more than 5,000 youths on 25 sites and grows, providing a comprehensive route of support from vaccines through high school graduation.
“I believe it is necessary that neighboring boys and girls clubs work together and work to create mutual efforts and regional consequences – when one of us is strong, we are all stronger,” Paes said. “I am incredibly excited to join the board of directors for boys and girls clubs of Silicon Valley to carry forward my shared mission!”
