However, before the official launch, technical details of this electric car have been revealed. According to the information, the company will launch it in India through CBU route. Its place in the company’s electric car range in India will be above Atto 3 SUV.

How will the battery pack be?
According to the information, the company is going to provide 82.5kWh capacity battery pack in BYD Seal. With this battery pack, the electric sedan will get a range of 570 kilometers (WLTP Cycle) on a single charge. It will have a rear axle mounted electric motor which will generate power of 230bhp and peak torque of 360Nm. This electric car can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 6 seconds.
Features of BYD Seal
This electric car has a trademark rotating 15.6 inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, 12-speaker audio system and sport seats. Apart from this, the Seal gets front storage space and 400 liters of boot space at the rear. BYD India currently has cars like Atto 3 SUV and e6 MPV.
Globally, BYD has revealed several new electric cars that may also come to India. At present the company is developing its dealership network in India, but despite this there is good demand for the company’s cars in India. Now, BYD aims to compete with more premium vehicles in the luxury sedan segment with the Sealed.
