Importance of 20th November in the world
The United Nations declared November 20 as ‘Universal Children’s Day’, there were two main reasons behind it:

- On this day in 1989, the ‘Convention on the Rights of the Child’ was also adopted, which is a historic agreement to protect the rights of children.
Due to these important events, November 20 was chosen to raise global awareness of children’s rights. Many countries of the world, (such as Canada, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, Sweden, France, Greece and South Africa), celebrate Children’s Day on this date.
