Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Rage Arc Release Date and Teaser
Ever since the day the film has been announced, fans have been curious to know about the film and even more so about its release date. The wait seems to be over as according to CBR report the film has been confirmed to release in 2025.
While passionate fans of Chainsaw Man might not have expected this, it’s still great news for fans who were worried that the film might not be released until 2026. Considering that it is already the last week of 2024, the wait for the film’s release won’t be too long. There is also no update regarding the film’s possible theatrical release in North America.
Meanwhile, two teasers of the film have been released with two key scenes. The first teaser was merely a montage and gave very little information about the film. However, the second teaser that dropped on Sunday, December 22 left fans curious to know more. The trailer for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Rage Arc shows iconic scenes from the beloved Bum Girl arc, complete with familiar dialogue and narration that fans will recognize.
The art and animation are nothing short of stunning, with a level of detail that surpasses even the high standards set by the television series and is followed by equally impressive direction and cinematography.

what to expect from Chainsaw Man – Movie: Rage Arc?
Chainsaw Man Season 1, which aired with 12 action-packed episodes, adapted the first four arcs of the manga. The season concluded with the final episode, “Katana vs. Chainsaw”, which teased the fifth arc by introducing a mysterious new character. The character, revealed to be Raze, plays a key role in the Manga’s Bomb Girl arc, which will now be the focus of the upcoming Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Raze Arc.
The movie is expected to pick up where things were left off during the Katana Man arc. The new arc will follow Denji as he meets Rage and becomes infatuated with her. However, his inner turmoil begins due to his ongoing loyalty to his love Makima. Other characters like Aki Hayakawa, Beam, and Angel will also be explored in the new arc.
