CBSE Results 2025: Results are going to be published on CBSE.nic.in and CBSE.Gov.in.

To pass the exam, candidates need to get minimum 33 marks out of 100 in each subject (representative image/file).
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted class 10 and 12 examinations from 15 February to 2 April 2025. The results are going to be published on CBSE.nic.in and CBSE.Gov.in official CBSE board websites. This year, more than 40 lakh students registered for the 10th and 12th board exams. According to media reports, the results are expected to be released in May.
CBSE Results 2025: When were the results released last year?
As the examination ends, the attention now turns into the expected result date and analysis of previous year’s trends. Last year, the results were declared on 13 May and it was declared on 12 May 2023. Whereas in the year 2022, the results were released on 22 July.
CBSE Results 2025: How did the students of class 12 perform in the exam last year?
The total pass percentage recorded last year is 87.98 percent, which is an increase of 87.33 percent from 2023 to 0.65 percent. Last year, students of more than 24,000 class 12 scored more than 95 percent, while more than 1.16 lakhs got more than 90 percent score. The girls crossed more than 6.40 percent of boys with more than 91 percent of girls.
CBSE Results 2025: How did class 10 students perform in the exam last year?
Last year, 93.60 percent of the students appearing in class 10 examination passed it. It represents an increase of more than 93.12 percent 0.48 percent, who passed the CBSE 10th exam in 2023. From Trivandrum, 99.75 percent of the students approved the class 10 examination, followed by Vijayawada 99.60 percent and Chennai, 99.30 percent.
CBSE Results 2025: Passing Criteria
To pass the exam, candidates need to get minimum 33 marks out of 100 in each subject. In subjects that include both practical and theory, the candidates then need to score 33 percent marks separately to successfully clean the examination. For mathematics, science, social science and English theory test, students need to get 27 out of 80 marks. However, for practical examinations, all candidates will get at least 6 marks out of 20 to clean the exam.
