The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the class 10 and 12 board exams 2026 LOC portal, but with late fees. Schools can fill the Loc form and can submit it through the official CBSE website on cbse.gov.in. The portal for form submission will be open till October 8, 2025. Forms can be presented with late fee by October 11, 2025.
The official notice states that all principals who have not yet submitted their LoCs are directed to ensure that they complete the LoC of their school and are presented with any applicable late fee within the stipulated time limit. This decision was made to reopen the portal because many schools have not yet submitted their LOCs within the stipulated time frame.
“All principals who still do not present their LoC, so are directed to ensure that the Loc for their respective schools is completed and presented within the stipulated time limit with late fees. The portal will be closed according to the above schedule, and after that no submission will be accepted. 2026,” reads the official notice.
The board has already released a temporary datesheet for class 10 and 12. As per Schedule, class 10 and 12 board exams 2026 will begin on 17 February 2026. Class 10 Main Board Examination will conclude on March 9, 2026, and on 9 April 2026 in class 12 from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm.
About 45 lakh candidates are expected to appear in class 10 in 2026 and 204 in 204 in 12 countries and 204 in 204 countries. However, the current datesheet is temporary in nature and the final schedule will be announced by schools on submission of the final list of candidates.
