CBSE Direct Recruitment Quota Exam 2026: To access the correction window, candidates need to visit the official recruitment page at cbse.gov.in and log in with their credentials.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a two-day window for candidates to correct or modify details in their online application forms for the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 (DRQ2026). As per the official notice, the correctional facility will remain open till 11:59 pm on December 29 (Monday) and December 30 (Tuesday), 2025.
DRQ2026 is a nationwide competitive examination aimed at recruiting personnel for various Group A, B and C posts within CBSE. There are 124 vacancies on various posts including Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor and Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant in various domains.
Only those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form with the required fee will be allowed to make corrections. The edit window is a one-time opportunity for applicants to correct errors before final submission. The CBSE notice states that no further changes will be considered in the application form after the correction period.

Fields allowed for correction include:
– Name of the candidate (minor corrections only)
– Change in spelling of father/mother’s name

– Educational qualification details
– Photograph and signature uploaded (in case of unclear or incorrect images)
– Option to apply for multiple posts and corresponding fee adjustment

– Registered mobile number
– Registered email ID
– Examination center priority
– application Number
– date of birth
– Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD)
– Identity proof details (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter ID, if entered wrongly)
– Correspondence/permanent address

step 1 – Visit the official CBSE Recruitment page – cbse.gov.in
step 2 – Log in with your credentials
step 3 – Go to the submitted application and make the permitted corrections
step 4 – Pay the required fees and submit the form
Step 5 – Download and save the acknowledgment page for further use
The Direct Recruitment Quota Exam selection stage consists of Tier-I, Tier-II and Interview or Skill Test stage.
