The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has advised all affiliated schools to include daily positive confirmation in their morning assembly routine from the academic session 2025-26.
In a letter, the board stated that this step is in line with its commitment to promote the overall development of students, and highlighted the importance of positive confirmation.
It said that positive affirmation is small, meaningful phrases that help individuals develop a creative self-image, emotional flexibility and developed mindset in development and optimism.

It further stated that regular association with such confirmation has been shown significantly to enhance the mental good, confidence and attention of the person.
CBSE said that this idea is to help children grow academically, but also emotionally, and helps them to be convinced to shape a better world.

Know the daily positive confirmation:
1. I am always happy.

2. I am calm and stable in every situation.

- To support the socio-emotional development of students.
- To establish a positive and respectable school culture.
- To encourage self-confidence and emotional regulation.
- To help students start their day with clarity, calm and confidence.
Guidelines for schools:
CBSE has also listed the following guidelines for schools:
- Schools can offer 1-2 short confirmation every morning during the assembly assembly.
- The values of confirmation, sympathy, courage and self-values should be age-appropriate, inclusive and vested. Schools can adapt further confirmation to align with their basic values.
- Students’ participation in recurrence or confirmation can be encouraged.
- Schools are free to innovate the format in alignment with their current assembly structure.
- Schools can display them as part of price education efforts in bulletin boards or classes.
- The choice of language can be adopted according to the student profile.
