The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in an official statement ruled out reducing the Class 10 and 12 syllabus by 15% and conducting open book exams in selected subjects under the Board Exams 2025.
What the board said:
With reference to the news regarding reduction of 15% syllabus for classes 10 and 12 and conducting open-book examinations in select subjects by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the board examinations of 2025, which has been published on various social media platforms. Online News Portals and Newspapers Please note that CBSE has not made any changes in its examination system or internal assessment system, nor has any official notification been issued in this regard. Therefore, CBSE refutes the above news,” the official statement said.
