CBSE conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 on January 21. Around 84 percent applicants appeared for the examination.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may release the results of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 by the end of this month. While the provisional answer key was released by the board on February 7, the Central Board of Secondary Education will release the CBSE CTET result, final answer key and cut-off marks soon on the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.

CBSE conducted CTET on January 21, 2024, and around 84 percent applicants appeared for the exam. It is to be noted that the board has not released the official release date of CTET results. However, as per the previous year trends, candidates can expect the release of CTET January Result for Paper 1 & 2 by the end of February 2024 on the official website.

CTET 2024 Result: Steps to check

Once CTET 2024 results are made public, candidates can visit the official website of CTET and follow the steps given below to check their results:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET www.ctet.nic.in to download the result.

Step 2: On the homepage of the portal, find and click on the link titled ‘CTET January 2024 Result’.

Step 3: On clicking, a new page will open where candidates have to enter the requested credentials.

Step 4: Click on Submit and login using the generated credentials.

Step 5: Once done, the result of CTET January 2024 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Save a copy of your result and take a hard copy of it for future use.

CTET 2024 Result: Expected Cut-Off

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be released with the CTET cut-off result for January 2024. Candidates should note that those who will meet the category-wise cut-off marks will be declared qualified. The minimum qualifying percentage for general category candidates is 60 percent, and the passing mark is 90 out of 150. For OBC category candidates, the minimum qualifying percentage is 55 percent, with a target of 82 marks out of 150. While candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), or PWD must score a minimum of 55 per cent marks to qualify, which requires 82 marks out of 150.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates aiming to teach classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for candidates aiming to teach classes 6 to 8. Both papers comprise multiple choice questions (MCQs) covering subjects such as Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages ​​I and II (selected from prescribed options), and Social Studies/Social Sciences. CTET exam assesses the knowledge, understanding and pedagogical skills of the candidates as per the standards set by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Central Board of Secondary Education.
