To pass the CBSE exam, students will have to get a minimum of 33 percent in all subjects (both principles and practical). The board also offers a 9-point grading system with A1 the highest grade and E is the lowest (requires improvement). Each grade has a related limit. For example, the digits between 91 and 100 are given A1, 81 to 90, A2, and further.
Students should also note that CBSE does not release toppers list. It will issue a qualification certificate at the top of 0.1 percent of the 10th and 12th students who have scored the highest marks. A list of toppers will not be released to avoid unhealthy competition. The board has further stated that it does not divide the students second or third.
