The CBSE board results are expected to be declared in May 2025. Once out, students will be able to check their points on official websites cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted class 10 and 12 examinations from 15 February to 2 April 2025.
This year, more than 30 lakh students appeared for CBSE Board 10th and 12th examinations. Last year, the results were declared on 13 May and 2023, it was out on May 12. Whereas in the year 2022, the results were released on 22 July.

CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2025: No Internet? How to check through SMS?
If students do not have access to the Internet or the CBSE website has crashed, they can check their score through SMS.
step 1 – Open the SMS application on your phone.
step 2 – Type – CBSE10 or CBSE12 Based on your class
step 3 – Send lessons to 7738299899.
step 4 – CBSE 10th Result 2025/ CBSE 12th result will be available through 2025 SMS.
CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2025: Subject War Passing Criteria
To pass the exam, candidates need to get minimum 33 marks out of 100 in each subject. In subjects that include both practical and theory, the candidates then need to score 33 percent marks separately to successfully clean the examination. For mathematics, science, social science and English theory test, students need to get 27 out of 80 marks. However, for practical examinations, all candidates will get at least 6 marks out of 20 to clean the exam.
CBSE will issue merit certificates at the top of 0.1 percent of the 10th and 12th students who have scored the highest marks. A list of toppers will not be released to avoid unhealthy competition. The board has further stated that it does not divide the students second or third.
