The CBI has raided 47 bases of builders in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad and registered 22 cases against unknown officials including builders. These builders include many renowned builders of NCR like JP, Supertech, Logics, AVJ etc.

The CBI has taken this action on the orders of the Supreme Court. During the raids, many important documents and digital evidence have also been seized from the builders’ locations. Explain that after being a victim of the fraud of the builders, banks and financial companies had tried to extort forcibly, due to which thousands of buyers filed petitions in the Supreme Court.

Taking seriously the real estate scams, the Supreme Court had ordered the CBI to investigate the connivance of builders and financial institutions in April 2025. The court had specially expressed concern over the misuse of the ‘subvention scheme’, especially the misusing of the ‘subvention scheme’. In this scheme, buyers were lured saying that until the house was not found, the EMI would not have to be given and many projects were made and many projects. Happened.

According to the instructions of the Supreme Court, the CBI first started 7 preliminary inquiry and then within three months, he completed 6 investigation and submitted the report to the court. After seeing this, the Supreme Court ordered to register 22 FIRs. Taking forward the same, now the CBI has taken this step. The CBI says that further action is still going on.
