CAT 2024 Exam Date: Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 is scheduled to be held on November 24. The first shift of the exam started at 8:30 am and ended at 10:30 am. Whereas, the exam timings of second and third shift are: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

For MBA aspirants who will appear in the 2nd and 3rd shift of CAT 2024 exam today, here is a last minute check of the essential CAT 2024 exam guidelines related to admit card, dress code and other essential exam details.

Guidelines have been set for male and female candidates aspiring to appear for the CAT 2024 exam to reduce the scope of cheating and use of unfair means in the examination.

CAT exam 2024 today: dress code

Dress code guidelines are mandatory for all CAT applicants. Mandatory rules for dress are outlined below.

-CAT candidates are not allowed to wear shoes/boots with thick soles. Therefore, they should prefer to go to the examination center wearing slippers or other shoes with thin soles.

-Clothes with big buttons are also not allowed inside the examination hall.

-Clothes with pockets are not allowed.

-As per CAT Dress Code 2024, metal jewellery, or gold jewelery (including earrings or studs) is strictly prohibited at the examination centre.

-Candidates should avoid wearing nose pin, necklace, anklets, bangles or other metal jewellery.
