Motor expert Pradeep says that people often go on long tours with their friends and family during summers. In such a situation, those who do not pay attention to the service of their vehicle and do not take care of it may have to face problems on the way. Pradeep says that the main reason behind fire in vehicles during summers is short circuit. A small short circuit takes the form of sparking which becomes the reason for fire in the vehicle. The second reason is seen in petrol vehicles. When the pipes of the vehicle become fragile due to continuous parking in the sun, then due to leakage of petrol from them, a fire can occur.

Apart from this, one should avoid driving the vehicle continuously at one go. After a few kilometres, one should stop the vehicle after seeing the shade. One should also not run the AC in the vehicle for a long time. He said that the vehicle should be serviced a day before the journey, in which it is important to check whether there is sufficient amount of coolant in your vehicle or not.

Avoid keeping these items
Many times people keep such items inside the vehicle which prove to be the cause of fire or the main reason for the rapid spread of fire. This includes gas aerosol or spray can. They should never be left inside the car in summer. Apart from this, one should avoid keeping any kind of inflammable substance in the vehicle. Nowadays many people take their gas cylinder with them on long tours, this should also be avoided.
