Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has made her grand entry at the Cannes International Film Festival. The actor has mesmerized his fans with his latest style statement while attending the Megalopolis premiere at Cannes 2024. Aishwarya poses for photographers in her first red carpet appearance at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Her unique fashion statement in Falguni Shane Peacock dress brought the much-needed elegance and sophistication. The actor waved and smiled at the Megalopolis premiere. Earlier fans were worried about him when he was spotted at Mumbai airport while leaving for Cannes. A sling was tied around his arm, with a white band visible around his wrist.
Aishwarya reached Cannes on May 16, along with her daughter Aaradhya. The mother-daughter duo was given a warm welcome in the French Riviera. She was presented a bouquet at the prestigious International Film Festival. The host also hugged Aaradhya as he recognized her during the meeting. Aishwarya expressed her gratitude for the hospitality while the hosts bowed before her.
Aishwarya made her 21st appearance at Cannes. She made her debut at the prestigious film festival in 2002. The actor also made headlines for her portrayal of Paro in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas in the same year, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit.
Apart from Aishwarya, Shobhita Dhulipala and Kiara Advani, who were also heading to Cannes, were captured at the airport. Shobhita and Kiara are also expected to visit Cannes soon.
Rajpal Yadav also made his Cannes debut on 16 May as his film Kaam Chalu Hai will be screened at the film festival.
