CA Exams: Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha election schedule, the dates of which are clashing with the official Chartered Accountants (CA) exam schedule, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided to reschedule these exams and release new dates. Have done.
In an official notification, the institute informed that the revised schedule of May 2024 examinations will be released on the evening of March 19 on the official website www.icai.org.

The official notification read, “The Election Commission has today announced the schedule of elections to the 18th Lok Sabha in the month of April-June 2024. It is observed that the above Lok Sabha elections, which will be held in 7 phases, will commence from 2024. ” 19 April 2024 and closing on 1 June 2024. Counting of all phases will take place on June 4, 2024.

The official notice from ICAI further said, “Accordingly, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will release the detailed revised schedule of May 2024 examinations on March 19, 2024 (evening).”

Earlier, the institute had released the official exam calendar which gave the schedule of the exam to be held in May this year. The schedule states that the Foundation Course exams will be held on June 20, 22, 24 and 26.

Additionally, Intermediate Group 1 exams were earlier scheduled to be held on 3, 5 and 7 May, while Group 2 exams were scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May. The official calendar also gives the exam schedule for the final exams, including May 2. Dates have been fixed for Group 1 exam on 4th and 6th May and for Group 2 exam on 8th, 10th and 12th May.

This year, the above examinations will be held at eight overseas examination centers including Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Kathmandu (Nepal) Muscat and Kuwait.
