Now there will be no problem of signal disappearing
New Delhi. If you often have problems with the network, the signal suddenly goes away, then now there is good news for you. Because Jio, BSNL and Airtel users can now call using any available network. Even if the signal of your own SIM has gone. The government has started Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) service. This means that users of any network can access 4G services through a single DBN-funded tower.
That means, the towers which have been installed by the government or have been installed at government expense, can be used by users of all networks. With this, users will get better 4G connectivity and there will be no need for many towers. This means there will be less installations overall.

Better service without spending more money
By doing this, all telecom users will get the benefit of better mobile services without spending much. Rural and remote villages will also benefit from this initiative. 4G connectivity will get a boost there. While launching this service, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the three major telecom companies – BSNL, Airtel and Reliance – will share their networks at all locations funded by DBN.
For those who do not know, let us tell you that Digital Bharat Nidhi (DBN) was earlier known as Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF). It works to improve mobile connectivity in rural and remote areas by providing funds for the installation of mobile towers. These towers enable people to use the network in places where it is difficult to reach and where they remain connected to a particular telecom service provider. However, currently users can avail the services of only the TSP which has installed the tower with the support of DBN. This means that customers of other telecom companies are not able to access these towers right now.
