The accused’s brother-in-law was arrested from Ludhiana
According to IGI Airport Police Deputy Commissioner Usha Rangnani, accused Rajesh Kapoor told during interrogation that he had bought an iPhone with the money from the jewellery and he had gifted this iPhone to his brother-in-law living in Ludhiana. After this revelation by accused Rajesh, a police team was sent to Ludhiana.
On the basis of information provided by accused Rajesh, the police conducted a raid in Ludhiana and arrested the accused’s brother-in-law and recovered the iPhone. The accused’s brother-in-law arrested from Ludhiana has been identified as Mohit Maini. Another arrest has also been made in this case.

A jeweler from Chandni Chowk was also arrested in the case
This arrest is of the jeweler who bought the jewellery stolen from the flight. This jeweler has been identified as Sanjay Jain. Sanjay Jain, who lives in Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, has a jewellery shop in Chandni Chowk. At the same time, on the information given by the accused, the police has once again recovered a huge amount of jewellery.
According to DCP Usha Rangnani, the recovered jewellery includes about 250 grams of pearls, jerkes, green emeralds, gold ornaments weighing 30 grams and other gems. The iPhone 15 Pro Max recovered from the accused’s brother-in-law.
