Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for more than 46,000 Headmaster and Head Teacher posts. The registration process will start from March 11 and the last date for form submission is April 2. Interested candidates can apply through online portal at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Along with the dates, BPSC has also announced the syllabus for both the posts. There are a total of 6,061 headmaster and 40, 247 posts of head teachers for primary schools under the education department and SC and ST welfare department.
BPSC Headmaster, Head Teacher Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and must have 50 percent marks. Candidate should have D.El.Ed/ BT/ B.Ed./ BAEd/ B.Sc.Ed/ BLEd. Along with Teacher Eligibility Test. They should have eight years of experience as a secondary teacher in a state government school and 12 years of experience as a secondary teacher in a school affiliated to CBSE, ACSE and BSEB.

BPSC application fee for general category is Rs 750 and candidates who fall under SC and ST and reserved category have to pay Rs 200, and female candidates have to pay Rs 200 for reserved or non-reserved category.
BPSC Headmaster, Head Teacher Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
A written examination will be conducted to determine eligibility through merit list. The examination will consist of questions related to General Knowledge and will consist of 150 multiple choice questions (objective type) of 150 marks.
