Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has once again hit out at Ola and its founder Bhavish Aggarwal, this time drawing attention to the abnormal condition of Ola service centres. His comments came after a post by X user RJ Kashyap, who claimed to have seen multiple bouncers at his local Ola service centre. The post read, “@kunalkamra88 Ola has now recruited around 5-6 bouncers at every service centre… I have just visited my nearest Ola service center and all the bouncers have been deployed to assist customers, even That is seen arguing with female customers. So this is the kind of service we are going to get.”

HT.com contacted Ola Electric for comment on the allegations. The company declined to comment.

Referring to the post of X user, Kamra said, “Please can a journalist fact-check this? If this is true, then it is truly unique – a sales team for the sale and a bouncer for the after-sale.”

Take a look at Kamra’s post:

Another user, Amol Chaudhary further escalated the situation by writing about his own harrowing experience at the Ola Experience Center in Virar, Mumbai. He said, “See @kunalkamra88 Ola service appointment ticket 05735050 scheduled for 2024-10-20 at Ola Experience Centre, Virar-Mumbai and no one is taking the scooter for repair, no job sheet is being given. Bouncers are in the center to respond to the customer with weapons drawn.

His post was accompanied by three photographs and a video from the centre.

Kamra reacted to the post and tagged Agarwal, sarcastically writing, “Hey @bhash, you have sold such an advanced Indian product that you have to appoint bouncers to protect the employees…”

This is not the first time Kamra has publicly criticized Ola. Last week, he had mocked Ola’s lack of transparency regarding customer complaints. “Ola Electric has not disclosed any plans to issue refunds or set an end date for current customer complaints. We don’t even know if there’s a plan… All I can do is tell @bhash they have to make a public plan that doesn’t involve employing me,” he told X (formerly Twitter). Posted on.

The ongoing dispute between Kamra and Aggarwal started when Kamra responded to a post showcasing Ola’s Gigafactory with a picture of several unserviced Ola electric scooters. Agarwal retaliated by dismissing Kamra as a “failed stand-up comic” and suggesting that his post was “paid”, while emphasizing that Ola Electric was expanding its service network to address the backlog. Is expanding.

Harsh Goenka’s reaction

The heated debate has attracted attention, including light-hearted remarks from Harsh Goenka. “If I have to travel short distances, say from one ‘kamra’ to another, I use my Ola,” he shared along with a picture of himself riding an Ola e-scooter.

Goenka’s post provided a humorous contrast to the ongoing controversy, showing how social media can create chaos amid heated exchanges.
