Producer Boney Kapoor often shares old moments of his late wife, veteran actress Sridevi. Boney on Sunday posted a beautiful old picture of the couple and expressed how much he misses them. Boney Kapoor shared old picture with Sridevi
Along with the picture, Boney also added a caption that read, “True love can’t hide.” This post started circulating quickly and fans did not like the photo.
Soon after Boney dropped the picture, fans flooded the comments section. One fan wrote, “My favorite queen, Sridevi ma’am,” while another called them the “best couple.”
Recently, Boney also shared another throwback picture of Sridevi, in which she was looking very beautiful and smiling in a black gown. Remembering her, he wrote, “The beauty and grace of a true queen.”
Sridevi Chowk in Mumbai
In October last year, Boney Kapoor along with his daughter had inaugurated a square in Mumbai on Saturday to pay tribute to late actress Sridevi. Political leaders and industry members participated in the event. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi also attended the launch.
Sridevi was born as Sri Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963. She is known for her iconic roles in Hindi films such as Chandni, Lamhe, Mr. India, Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Sadma and English Vinglish. The Padmashree awardee also made a mark with her exceptional performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.
Her last film was Mom, for which she also posthumously received the National Award for Best Actress. Sridevi died on February 24, 2018 in Dubai, where she had gone to attend a family function.
Sridevi and Boney’s daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are also actors.
