Election is usually a regular case, in which Rudy has almost won unopposed for the last 25 years. This year, too, Rudy maintained his dominance in the August 12 elections, although not without facing a challenge from his party, BJP.
“I can win by more than 100 votes. And if it is multiplied by 1000 voters, the number is up to 1 lakh. It is my panel victory … Everyone gets up from their party and cast their vote. My panel had people of Congress, SP, TMC and independent MPs. I got the result of my efforts in the last two decades.”

Rudy faced former Union Minister Sanjeev Balan for the election of Secretary (Administration), which many people are called ‘BJP vs. BJP’ fights.

Constitution club
The club was formed in 1947 as an informal social place for the members of the Constituent Assembly.
It is located on the Rafi route behind the Reserve Bank of India in the Parliament Street area of New Delhi. Prior to 1965, when it was inaugurated by the then President’s Radhakrishnan at the address of his current Rafi Marg, the club used to be on Curzon Road, now called Kasturba Gandhi Road.
