Annamalai said, “DMK leaders have reached a new low in their indecent behavior by making lewd comments and inexcusable public discourse against our honorable PM Thiru Narendra Modi.”
He said the BJP would take up the matter with the Election Commission and the Director General of Police and demand “strictest and immediate action” against Radhakrishnan.

Tamil Nadu BJP also posted the video on Twitter, saying that Radhakrishnan spoke about PM Modi in a “disgusting manner”. It also alleged that DMK MP Kanimozhi “witnessed this despicable act”.
“When they have nothing to criticize, DMK leaders have stooped to this level. Annamalai tweeted, DMK MP Smt. Kanimozhi was on the AVL stage and did not bother to stop her colleague.

Meanwhile, state BJP vice president Narayanan Tirupati said the minister should be sacked and arrested immediately. He said, “If we translate it, it is the dirtiest word in the English language… If the DMK has any shame, they should sack this minister for abusing the PM in a dirty manner…. “
Meanwhile, Union Minister Anurag Thakur also strongly condemned Radhakrishnan’s remarks against the Prime Minister and said there is no place for such language in a democracy.
PTI quoted Thakur as saying, “When destruction befalls a man, the first thing that dies is his conscience. The conscience of the people involved in the ‘India Alliance’ is dead.”
“One of his ministers [INDIA bloc] Thakur said, yesterday he abused Prime Minister Modi, used objectionable words and made derogatory remarks against him in the presence of a woman MP of the party.
“With Radhakrishnan’s comment, the total number of abuses directed at Prime Minister Modi by opposition leaders has reached 120,” Thakur reportedly said. He said, “Every time he abused Modi ji, the people of India showered him with more love.”
