Bihar D.El.Ed JEE 2026: This entrance exam will fill a total of 30,800 seats in 306 D.El.Ed colleges in Bihar for the 2026-2028 academic session.

There is a big relief for the candidates who want to do D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) in Bihar. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the deadline for online application and fee submission for D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2026. Initially, the process was scheduled from December 11, 2025 to December 24, 2025. Now, under Advertisement No. PR 331/2025, the deadline has been extended to January 9, 2026, starting from December 26, 2025.

This extension is applicable only to online form submission and fee payment. All other requirements mentioned in Advertisement No. PR 323/2025 will remain unchanged. This extension is a valuable opportunity for those who missed the previous deadline.

This entrance exam will fill a total of 30,800 seats in 306 D.El.Ed colleges of Bihar for the academic session 2026-2028. The seat distribution is as follows: 50 percent for science students, and the remaining 50 percent for arts and commerce students. Additionally, 10 percent seats are reserved for candidates who have studied Urdu at Plus Two level.

As per the board’s schedule, the online exam will be conducted between January 19 and February 18, 2026. The result is expected in March 2026, after which the first, second and third merit lists will be released. Choice locking, seat allotment and slide-up process will begin in the last week of March. The entire admission process is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2026. The new academic session is scheduled to start in July 2026.

step 1 – Visit the official website of BSEB – secondary.biharboardonline.com.

step 2 – Click on Bihar D.El.Ed Registration link on the homepage.

step 3 – Register yourself and fill the application form with required details.

step 4 – Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Step 5 – Download and save the acknowledgment page for further use.

Applicants are advised to complete their application before the deadline and keep visiting the official website of BSEB regularly for updates.
