Ranvir Shorey recently spoke about his journey in Bigg Boss OTT 3. The actor also clarified his ‘soft spot’ comment on Sana Maqbool’s win. Ranvir Shorey says there were more deserving winners
Ranvir, while clarifying his statement blamed the media for ‘twisting’ what he said, “Our media people have a habit of manipulating statements just like our recent winner. In my opinion there were other deserving winners.)”
He went on to claim who could’ve been more deserving than Sana to win, “Among them, I also count Armaan, Lovekesh, Shivani, Vishal and Chandrika. (And in that regard, apart from myself, I also consider Armaan Malik, Lovekesh Kataria, Shivani Kumari, Vishal Pandey and Chandrika Dixit aka Vada Pav girl as good contenders.)”
Ranvir also called Sana ‘smart’, “I know Sana is beautiful, intelligent, very smart but for me Bigg Boss house was not just a place where one had to abuse each other and insult each other (I know Sana is beautiful, intelligent, very smart. However, for me, this show wasn’t just about insulting or abusing others).”
Ranvir Shorey says he is still scared of Bigg Boss
He further said, “For me this experience had a deeper meaning on how we behave in the society, how we maneuver with limited resources, but of course this was my mistake and I should have watched the show properly before going inside. (For me this experience had a deeper meaning on how we behave in the society and live on limited resources. It was my fault that I didn’t watch the previous seasons properly before going in.)”
Clarifying his stance that he respects the show, he said, “Lekin main iss hisaab judging kar rahi tha aur in these parameters maine Sana ko nahi dikhaya kisi gharwale ke le kaam karte hue ya sympathise rahi. Main Bigg Boss par ungaal nahi khata rahi tha kyunki main unse itna darr karti hai ki abhi awaz sunoon to khada ho jaoon. Mujhe lagta hai ye life bhar rahega. (But I was judging everyone on these parameters where I couldn’t see Sana doing some extra work in the house or having sympathy for any housewife. I wasn’t questioning Bigg Boss because I am so scared of him that if I hear his voice I stand up. This will be for the rest of my life).”
What did Ranveer Shorey say about Sana
Earlier, after losing to Sana and Naezy, Ranveer told AyraNews24x7, “I don’t think she has done anything positive in the house. Apart from saying ‘I’m selfish’, ‘I want to win’ or believing that the show is about how bad you can be and call it determination, I don’t think she has had any positive impact on anything in the house or on the housemates. I don’t consider her the most deserving contestant. But still, I think Bigg Boss had a soft spot for her somewhere in his mind. I think she got the votes. That should be respected. Congratulations to her.”
Ranveer will next be seen in the mystery-thriller series Shekhar Home starring KK Menon, which is based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes.
