Days after Munawar Faruqui’s wedding rumours with Mahjabeen Kotwala surfaced, pictures of the couple cutting a cake have now surfaced on social media. Munavvar and Mehjabeen cut the cake
Paparazzi photographer Varinder Chawla shared pictures of Munawar and Mehzabeen cutting the cake on his Instagram, claiming, “First pic of #MunawarFaruqui and 2nd wife #MehzabeenKotwala cutting cake after wedding goes viral!”
In the picture, Munawar can be seen wearing a white shirt, while Mehjabeen looks beautiful in a lavender coloured shirt. They cut a white cake decorated with flower petals. However, it is not clear whether the couple is married or not and when the picture was taken.
Fans’ reaction
However, fans took it as a sign that they are married, with one fan writing, “Congratulations Munawar Faruqui bhai on your second marriage. All the best! Here is the first picture of the couple.” Another wrote, “Mashallah aapki jodi bahut khuburi lag rhi hai. (You both look gorgeous together.)”
One fan wrote to X (formerly Twitter), “May your love continue to grow stronger with each passing day, may you have a beautiful journey ahead, and wishing you many more precious moments with your little ones – your daughter and son!”
Munawar’s marriage rumour
On Monday, rumours spread that Munawar has got married for the second time. Times Now quoted a source as saying, “Yes, Munawar is married now. He has got married. He wants to keep it all under wraps, so you won’t find any special pictures.”
The report also claims that only the close and dear ones of the couple were present at the ceremony as it was a very close-knit ceremony. Reportedly, Munawar got married around two weeks ago. He and his new bride hosted their wedding reception at ITC Grand Maratha in Mumbai on Sunday.
Munawar’s previous marriage
Munawar was previously married to Jasmin, with whom he has a six-year-old son Mikail, who has his birthday today (May 29). He first spoke about his family on Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Up. He also spoke about his son with Mannara Chopra while participating in Bigg Boss 17.
She said, “I have been with someone for the last two years. I got married in 2017 and we separated in 2020. Our divorce was finalised last year. Amidst all this, the best thing in my life is my son. He is 5 years old and lives with me.” Mehjabeen has a daughter from her previous marriage.
