A judge refused to dismiss rape charges against Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z, leaving the singer feeling “upset and concerned.” Despite the decision, she has chosen to “stay” with her spouse.
Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, is embroiled in a legal battle with a woman who claims he raped her when she was just 13 years old.
Following an appeal by lawyer Alex Spiro to drop the case or mandate the woman’s public identification, Judge Analisa Torres on Thursday sided with the accuser and allowed her to remain anonymous for the next phase of the proceedings.
Beyonce is ‘praying this will be over soon’
Speaking to the Daily Mail, an insider said Beyoncé has faced the fact that “there’s nothing she can do except support her man” amid his legal troubles.
While Beyoncé, 43, adores her husband “1,000 percent,” she is “heartbroken” because her accuser is the “same age” as her 12-year-old daughter, White Ivy.
“Beyoncé is upset and concerned about the allegations against her husband,” the source said.
According to the insider, the Blackbird singer has accepted the fact that there isn’t much she can do to change the way the world thinks about her spouse now.
“She is praying that this ends soon and that she is not kicked out,” he said, indicating that the celebrity is eager to return to her regular life as soon as possible. “Everyone wants to get back to their lives and everyone wants to be happy.”

Is Beyonce facing ’emotional turmoil’ because of the case?
According to another source, the hitmaker experienced considerable ’emotional distress’ as a result of the affair.
He revealed that Beyoncé initially intended to go “into overdrive” and “show” what a good man her husband is, but that she has now decided to adopt a new strategy.
“She knows she should just get on with it and not try to get involved anymore because it really doesn’t involve her at all,” he said.
The woman, named Jane Doe, claims that at the age of 13, Carter and notorious rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her during an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in New York City.
