Dehradun: Many people are fond of traveling in the beautiful valleys of Uttarakhand. Traveling through high mountains with cool breeze amidst lush green trees and plants has its own fun. But, even public transport does not go everywhere. Without a car, people cannot explore even on foot. Therefore you will need a car. In such a situation, bikes and scooties are given on rent at many places in the capital Dehradun, with which you can tour the valleys here.

Giving information to Local 18, Rajat Rastogi, who runs a rental bike agency in Dehradun, said that if a tourist wants to make his journey memorable, then he can easily travel everywhere by renting a bike, bullet or scooty. He told that the rent of Scooty ranges from Rs 500 to Rs 800 to reach some areas of Dehradun. Fare may vary according to distance. The rate of scooty, bike or bullet within the range of 5 kilometers is ₹ 100 per person. He owns scooties like Axis, Avenis and Barkman. Whereas, among the bikes there is Apache and Bullet. There is mostly demand for BS6 scooters to go to hilly areas. Because, it can run even on bad rocky roads. In this, space is available to keep the tourists. In this, the calculation of the day runs from 9 am to 9 am the next day. Till Mussoorie and Dhanaulti, it costs Rs 600 for a scooty and Rs 800 for a bike. Whereas, the scooty rent for Char Dham is charged at the rate of Rs 1,000 per day.

Rental bike craze among youth
Rajat Rastogi says that there is more craze for rental bikes among the youth. Among these, youth like everything from Scooty to Bullet and sports bike. The demand for rental bikes for Chardham Yatra is increasing day by day. If we talk about last year, 30% people had gone to Chardham via two wheeler only. He said that many times more money is taken from people. Therefore, while taking a rental bike, it has a commercial number plate (yellow colour), which should be taken only after seeing it.

How to take two wheeler on rent?
If you also want to travel to the hill station of Uttarakhand by bike or scooty then visit. This railway station is in Jhanda Mohalla near Darshani Gate, where you can go directly. It is mandatory to have DL here. Because, registration is done only after scanning it.
