New Delhi. BAPS celebrated ‘Phuldol Festival’ in the southwest region of Sydney. The event was held recently at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Temple and Cultural Complex in Camps Creek, which included people from various regions of Sydney as well as devotees from America, Britain, New Zealand and Japan and Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese.
Phuldol Festival was the center of special attraction. It was spreading a wonderful shade of music, dance, traditional presentations and colors. According to a BAPS spokesperson, Phuldol is a special occasion for our community. In the last 115 years, it has been celebrated outside India only for the second time. It is really unique to see it in such a grand form in Sydney. The Phuldol Festival was also an opportunity to share Indian traditions with the Australian community and re -connect with its spiritual roots.

Located near the Western Sydney International Airport under construction, this cultural complex set a grand backdrop for the festival. Prime Minister Albanese described it as “a wonderful example of magnificent development”. “This temple is not just a worship place, but it is a place of peace, intimacy and affinity, where every person feels home like home regardless of his religion and background.”
Mahant Swami Maharaj’s divine blessings
BAPS Guru Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj adorned this festival with his blessings. He sprayed holy water on the devotees and made the organization even more divine. “The presence of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj is an unforgettable blessing for the devotees. Prime Minister Albanese concluded his visit while contemplating the teachings of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj.
