Singing reality show ‘Indian Idol Season 16’ presented an emotional moment. The special episode of the show ‘Yaadon Ki Barat’ was dedicated to late Dharmendra. Veteran Bollywood actor Jitendra also appeared in this segment. There has been a friendship between Jitendra and Dharmendra for almost five decades. Both have worked together in many superhit films, which include films like ‘The Burning Train’, ‘Dharam Veer’, ‘Dharam Karma’ and ‘Kinara’. During the segment, the contestants sang popular songs of Dharmendra and remembered his contributions. During this, the atmosphere became so emotional that the judge of the show and famous rapper Badshah also became emotional.

Remembering Dharmendra, Badshah said that he was the real soul of Punjab. With his departure it seems as if the beauty and fragrance of Punjab has diminished somewhat. He said, ‘Dharmendra ji was the idol hero for every fan. Wherever he is, he should be happy. Dharmendra died on 24 November and on hearing this news, a wave of mourning ran across the country. Many big stars reached the Deol family’s house to meet and console them. Meanwhile, Jitendra also reached his old friend’s house and met the family and expressed his condolences.
