Here is some less known BTS stories about Varun Dhawan-Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Yami Gautam Dhar’s 2015 film Badlapur.
Badlapur- Do not remember the beginning released in 2015, counting among the best thriller made from Hindi cinema. Starring in decisive roles by Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta and Yami Gautam Dhar, it roamed around a man’s search to take revenge after his entire family was killed.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who played the role of Liack Mohammad Tungrekar, was not given any dialogue for the film. According to reports, he was an independent hand to say that whatever he felt.
Shriram Raghavan did not want the music video of Geet Ji Karda to be part of the film. He revealed in an interview for the film partner that it was on the request of producer Dinesh Vijan that it was retained, and he does not like it till date.

Apart from Sriram’s preference, the tagline ‘Don’t Miss the Beginning’, was also officially maintained as a part of the title as there was another film called Badlapur Boys. The producers of Varun Dhawan-Starrer could not give the film the name of Badlapur until he added anything to it.
Badlapur was not originally titled! It was used only as a task title, but the manufacturers received positive response from within the team and therefore maintained it.
In an interview in Hindustan Times, Shriram revealed that Varun was accidentally casting as Raghav Purohit in the film. “I had just described the basis of Dinesh of Badlapur, and I remember he is worried about whether he likes it or not. Just then, Varun called him and came up. To get a response from another person, I also heard the script to Varun. As I was telling it, I could see her more and more excited. We did not even tell him that we can consider him for the role at this point. After that day, Varun called me every day and talked about that he feels how a certain scene could be done, “he said.
