The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shared an update on the AXIOM-4 mission on June 24, which is set to take Indian astronaut Sukhanshu Shukla to the international space station. After several delays, the space mission is now seen as its launch date on 25 June. NASA on Tuesday issued a statement to make this big announcement.
Axiom Mission 4 Launch Date and Time
NASA said, “NASA, Axiam Space, and SpaceX are targeting EDT at 2:31 pm on Wednesday, 25 June, which is for the launch of the fourth private spacecraft mission for the International Space Station, AXIOM Mission 4.”
Under the leadership of Commander Paigi Whitson, the space crew is set to travel to the parikrama laboratory at a new SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. Spaceflight with Sukhanashu Shukla as a mission pilot and Hungarian Astronaut Tibor Kapu and Slavose Uznanski-Visnivski of Poland, Spaceflight, is scheduled to dock at the International Space Station (ISS) at IST at around 4:30 pm on 26 June.
The statement said that the launch at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida will turn away from 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. This said, “The crew will travel to the circumambulation laboratory at a new SpaceX Dragon spacecraft after launching the company on the Falcon 9 rocket. The joint venture of NASA, SpaceX and ISRO, this space mission is important for India because Shubhanshu Shukla is to make history with Axiom-4. The success of this mission will make Shubhanshu Shukla the second Indian in the classroom after the success of this mission, after the first people traveling to ISS.
Initially, the mission was determined for the lift-off on 29 May, but then postponed till June 8, then June 10, June 11 and again on 22 June. The mission was postponed several times in the past due to the crossing of the crossing as well as the launchpad and adverse weather conditions.
