Have you ever given a glass of water to drink to the boy who came to deliver in the scorching heat? But what 4 friends did to the delivery boy who came to deliver food in a deserted building at midnight was shocking. This video going viral on the internet is teaching a new definition of humanity and relationships. Let us tell you what exactly happened to this delivery boy.
It was 1.35 in the night and it was raining heavily…
A delivery boy from Ahmedabad narrated the entire incident that happened with him Humans of Bombay He told. ‘It was 1.35 in the night and I was standing under a tree. I had to deliver 4-5 food parcels but the rain was very heavy and there was water everywhere. At that time the first thought that came to my mind was, ‘I should not have taken the order.’ But when I did, I had to complete the work. So a few seconds later, I covered my face, put on a raincoat, prayed, ‘God save me,’ and left. I reached the customer’s building. The building was completely deserted. I thought, ‘Is this a fraudulent delivery?’ This happens to us often, people order after 12 pm and then… disappear! Scared, I climbed the stairs and rang the bell. No one opened the door. I rang the bell again and Yash bhai opened the door. He and his friends were at the door. I thought, ‘They will scold me for the late delivery.’ But as soon as they opened the door, one of them asked, ‘Is it your birthday today?’ And then I realised… today is 26th August, actually it was my birthday. I didn’t pay attention to work.
These four friends saw Aaqib’s birthday on the app.
When Yash and his friends gave a gift to Sheikh Aaqib
The delivery boy named Shaikh Aaqib further said, ‘Yash bhai and his friends started singing ‘Happy Birthday’. Their song instantly brought a smile to my face. It was a very emotional moment for me. They gave me a box… it contained perfume. Then they shook hands with me. In that one moment… I was no longer a delivery agent and they were no longer customers. The relationship had progressed… maybe even friendship. After all the greetings, I walked out of their building with a smile on my face. I delivered the rest of the packages, reached home at 6 am and went to sleep. When I woke up, my wife said, ‘It’s your birthday today and you were working so late?’ I just smiled and said, ‘It’s my birthday.’ She gave a very confused look. And when I told her about the incident, she simply said, ‘Aisa thodi na hota hai.’
“It’s my birthday…”
Sheikh Aaqib further says, ‘And really… this does not happen. In my three-year career as a delivery agent, this has happened to me for the first time. I have heard a lot, ‘The delivery is late, I will not pay.’ ‘You people just keep passing time.’ But I have never seen 4 unknown people being happy about my birthday. I will always remember this moment. Because such moments and people are rarely found in life… I got them after 24 years.’
